UPDATE: (note to self - always ask Pixy) I may be able to fix the original post so I don't have to redo. Although it's rather late and I think I'll wait until tomorrow or the weekend.  I emailed Pixy the Magnificent and he gave me directions on how to do what I want to do.

I need to do a new "About Me" entry.  My old one is  dated as most of you know... the bit about Young Son being deployed is no longer right, it should now read that he is a Veteran!  Holy smokes - a Veteran at the ripe old age of 25. 

Unfortunately I have no easy way to go back and redo that post in this blog set up so I'll have to work on a new one.  I wish I had a recent picture of me that wasn't hideous.  Oh well... I shall have to work on it.   (not really sure it's possible)

I'll have to ponder this a while.

I feel your pain. I must have rewritten my "about me" paragraph 15 times before I published my first post. And I've changed it 10 times since then.  I'm just never satisfied, I guess!  And regarding the picture: ask a friend to snap some candid shots of you when you're not looking.  "Natural" pics frequently look better because they're not staged or posed.

3 I have no About Me page. I am guessing Blogspot has some way to have a secondary info page, aside from that weird profile offshoot, but I haven't discovered it yet. 
And there are NO pictures of me taken in the past 5 years.  I am damn comfy resting on my photographic laurels of the past.  (Seriously, I have an anti-photogenic face, it takes about 100 shots to get one that doesn't scare small children or the elderly.)

6 Rev Paul - yes, I should totally rewrite it, but if it's not staring me in the face I tend to forget about it. 

Susan - you know I adore you... but really - hair that goes POOF, red eye that makes me look like I'm channeling Satan, and that double chin thing - I just prefer not to have evidence in photographic form. 

LeeAnn and Pam - maybe I should follow your lead and not to any pics.  Or possibly find a cute gravatar to represent me (like LeeAnn's which is just excellent)

Sue - oh I truly hate pictures of myself.  And many have tried to take them... I'm with LeeAnn in the 1 per 100 (or maybe that's 1000) that are acceptable. Heh.
