Klutzes Are Me
So, beloved husband and I went out to do a bit of hiking on
Wachusett Mountain this afternoon... Great views. We didn't go all the way to the top because we got there kinda late in the day - but we got up far enough and found a clearing where we could see the city of Boston off about 30 miles or so.
Sadly I couldn't pass up the opportunity to slide on some ice and fall... we were only about 100 feet from the parking lot... nearly done for heaven sake - most annoying. The funny thing was that I didn't have any problem on the steep slopes of granite with ice on them... no, I had to find some ice covered in a thin layer of dirt so it looked like hard ground.
So, the next few days will be a challenge for my typing... because... I managed to cut the little finger on my right hand. Anytime I hit the shift key - it smacks right on the cut. Also managed to pull something in my left knee. Otherwise just a little bruised.
Thanks to tai chi - there were no ankle injuries... my ankles can take quite a bit of turning now without protest. Well - at least something still works. Heh.

Ow! That hurts just reading about it...! Other than the fall it sounds like a nice day, though... looks like a great mountain to hike...!
Hope that knee heals quickly...

Comment Spammers Should Be Shot - Line 'em Up!
I had to make the extra effort today to close all my comments on posts that are over 7 days old. This includes some still on the front page. Sadly the comment spammers have been out in force. I just got tired of having to go through MT Blacklist every time I opened my browser and even several times a session while I'm blog reading!.
I apologize if you wanted to comment on an older post - but spam is too annoying after a while. One day I will meet a spammer... it won't be pretty.

I do that, too. Every time I write a new post, I close an old one. Usually the two or three newest are open for comments.
Spammers are heathens without souls. I pity them, and us for having to live with their crap. :/

I had to set my posts not to take comments after some period of time, and I'm still getting tons of it.
I hate spammers!
