It Boggles The Mind
Beloved husband was listening to an interview on the radio tonight on his way home from work. The person being interviewed is the head of TSA at Logan airport in Boston. Guess how many people TSA employs at Logan... go on guess...

If you do the math, it's not that impressive. There are 168 hours/week. If you divide 800 men by the number of hours, you have just under 5 men/hour working.

Actually I don't think you can do the math that way on this one. If you assume that these are full time employees, with some part timers thrown in for fun. Then you divide it up into shifts. You get way way more than that available.
For instance 800/3 is 267 (give or take) available for each shift. Night shift is generally not so well staffed, that leaves more for evenings and days. Yada Yada Yada... it's still a LOT of people for an airport the size of Logan.

Okay, so there are 800 people on the job. But how many of them are working?
