It Wouldn't Be a Blogmeet Without...

Hay bales - this one is for Erica since she didn't get to come this time.  I was going to get cows too, but they were never in pastures where I could stop and take a picture.

Rockets!

Sheep watching rockets... (don't ask just agree)

A faher of some sort...

Luckily that faher wasn't in the draher like last year.

Blog meets are such fun.

1 First time here.  Been going through your blog.  GREAT pictures, very, very nice.  Glad I found this blog, found it by another blog, I forgot which one now. Was on their side bar of all the different bogs they supported or suggested to visit.  The pond pictures were wonderful.  I liked all the moody clouds taken from the St. Louis trip.   Anyway keep snapping those pictures, very fine.

2 Oh my. Dolly is looking awfully longingly at that rocket. I know Jerry painstakingly went over this with Hairboy, but the difference between hay and straw is what? Because I have no idea.

5 Heltau - thanks for stopping by glad you are enjoying the pics!

E - I think Dolly was missing V-man...  Hay and straw - one is dead and dried out the other is green and edible.

Sam - yes, I did want to get that in there.  LOL.

Tommy - it was fabulous to see you again!

8 Teresa, it's always a pleasure to see the Far Nawthen Contingent in our balmy environs.  Great rocket shots... especially the one with Miss Dolly.  There's probably a whole post's worth of lies I can make up about that scene...

Good thing those rockets were outside.  The Fire Marshall takes a dim view of  launching those indoors.  So did those motorists on I-271 that day back in '72 when Jay and Mitch and I...

Who was in charge of inflating the sheep?

10 Elisson - it is always delightful to see you and your lovely wife!

Cappy - LeeAnn inflated the sheep. There was much angst over the method, but Eric had a foot pump... LOL.

11 Ah, V-Man. A Helen Blogtoberfest memory, from the one time I trekked down there: He hoisted Dolly way up in the air with a broomstick shoved up her boody and announced that it was International Call to Play Half-Rubber. How I laughed.

12 Hahahaha - the sheep is cracking me up!!

13 I did have a large time this year, the third time around.  I always have a good time at Eric's but this year was strangely, relaxing.  No first time jitters, no hay vs straw lessons, no bib overalls.  Just talking with folks that I've come to admire and love greatly.  I really had a great time!
