So today I had a meeting down in the city. I really love going to downtown Chicago - there's no comparison to the burbs at all! So, I haven't been around to do any blogging or even much reading.

I did get over to Beth's place and she is posting about all of our friends down in Florida - naturally the rest of us are all very worried! Anyway, I went to post a message and got the most amusing error message I've seen yet!

Hmm. Internal server error. How zen-like. We'll have to contemplate our inner server and balance our chi. Please come back after we're done meditating and the world is aligned and in balance once more. We apolgize for the delay.

So instead of reposting my comment, I decided to come back here an turn it into a post.

I talked to Tammi this evening at about 7pm (Central Time) she had made it to her family in Bradenton (??) as I said over at Bou's comments - my brain has blanked - anyhow, she's NOT alone this time and her family and friends feel soooo much better!!!! What really worried me was the fact that none of the houses in her neighborhood are occupied because they're all rentals and everyone cleared out! So, I'm truly relieved she decided to clear out too and go sit this out elsewhere.

Tammi had talked to Bou earlier - sounds like she'll have a house full. Well, nothing like a little togetherness. *grin* I think they're as ready as they can possibly be - you do the best you can and then just wait it out. I'm hoping Pam and Arthur are all set. I don't have her number, so I couldn't check up on her *grin* she's likely very relieved about that!

So, to all you Floridians - we're praying for you, pulling for you, hoping all goes well and it turns out to be a dud of a storm. *sigh* Well, we can always hope you know!!! Take care and let us know how you are as soon as you can.
