When Life Throws Lemons at You... Go Shopping
So it's been a pretty crappy few weeks. I've been more than a little tense and had about enough of some people in my life.
Today I decided it was time for some fun. So I got online and went shopping. (you didn't think I'd be excited about heading to the mall now did you?) Gotta love being able to sit at the computer, click and buy. It's a wonderful thing. Of course I spent way too much money - but oh well... such is life sometimes. For years I spent none. It all evens out.
What did I buy? Well a couple of new lenses for my camera of course! You can't buy most lenses in camera stores anymore, you have to order them. So, I got the relatively inexpensive prime 50mm 1.8 lens and then... I couldn't help it, I had to get the Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens. *sigh* It's a beautiful thing.
I'm very excited. New toys!!! Nearly as good as new computer equipment. I'm really hoping the Sigma gets here before Saturday.
What's Saturday? Well just look! Very very cool! Even without my new camera lens it will be fun to take pictures. But I do hope it gets here - that would be awesome!
If you'd like to see some stunning pics taken with this lens check these out, Ian is an excellent photographer. It was his photos that inspired me to look into wide angle photography. I don't know if I'll match these - but it will certainly be fun trying.
In any case, when I'm taking pictures, there are many other things I'm NOT thinking about - and it's all good. I'm really liking this photography thing - even if I'm not an artist.

Way cool, and thanks, big time, for the nice plug. :-)
I checked out your Tower Hill Botanic Garden photos: TOTALLY AWESOME!
It will be wonderful to have you as AP (adorable pal) photographer at Saturday's event.
