A Blogger Merry Christmas for the Troops
Matty O'Blackfive and Uncle Jimbo put together a video of clips from bloggers wishing the troops a Merry Christmas. I don't have a video camera so I'm not there... *sigh* But a bunch of my favorite bloggers are - and lookin' good!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the troops who are away from home. Stay safe.

Take a Moment
Thank a WW2 vet, or just pause and reflect.
Today is the 66th anniversary of Pearl Harbor (many thanks to FencerScott who caught my mistake! And I looked right at it while I wrote it... figures).
It's not getting much attention in the MSM (USA Today has nothing on its front web page, Boston.com has nothing either, Chicago Tribune has a link to an article though). It's not one of the "5 year" anniversaries, so it takes a step back for the next few years.
We are here as a nation, after that heinous attack, because our country stood together and fought for our existence. Look at everything you have including this little thing called the internet. The world would be a vastly different place if the greatest generation hadn't put a stop to the aggressors.
Thank you to all WW2 soldiers who stepped up when your country needed you.
