Changed my gravatar - don't know if I like it or not, but the other one was boring.  So, if you have gravatars on your blog, mine will change soon.

Went to Mount Wachusett yesterday.  Took the chairlift to the peak instead of driving.  Got lots of pictures which I hope I can eventually get up on my smugmug site.  All I need is the ambition to actually work on them.

While I was there, I met a terrific group called the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association - they were from the Rhode Island chapter.   They saw me with my camera and mistakenly thought I actually knew what I was doing!  Ha!  They asked me to take a few pics of them all (so one didn't have to miss out on the pic) with their cameras.   I also took a few of my own, but don't know yet whether they want them posted online.  (when sending the one pic out to the guy who gave me his card - I told him I mostly do landscape and probably would have gotten a better picture if they had all been trees...  heh)

Anyhow, it was a terrific day for a motorcycle ride and it was lovely up there.  What a great group. 

All in all it turned out to be an excellent day.
