Okay the hands are still not too happy today.  There was more shoveling (involving all that heavy crap that the street plows throw onto the bottom of the driveway).  However, I think I can make it through one post and get a few pics up.

Last weekend we had  little bit of snow.  The pretty kind. 

Before the snow, we had stuff like ornamental grass to look at...



Then you get a little light snow and the whole view changes.



It's the kind that sticks to the trees and plants.



Pretty all the way around.



You may recall this bush from a short time back when it still had leaves.



Flowers that were not deadheaded make a nice place for the snow to collect.



Okay so I rather like how this plant looks when the snow is sticking to it.



I'd say I fixated on it, but really it was in an easy spot to take pictures, so I did...



Of course there were a few other plants too.



And sadly that is all I've managed tonight.  Hopefully the rest tomorrow.  Must let the hands rest now.

I like to get this kind of snow once, maybe twice a year.  Last year we actually had one, before that it had been years!  Hope we get one this year, but not until after I have to drive to the barn twice a day to tend Rosalie.

5 Your beautiful pics remind me of when I was a kid growing up in Wisconsin. It was crisp and startling and magical.
Then I grew up and lived in places where I had to drive in it.
I'm glad I'm more suthren now...
But they are SO entrancing those pictures.

6 Thank you Kim.  LOL - Wisconsin is way colder than it is here for the most part.  Although on the whole I'm sure we get more snow than just about anywhere in the midwest.
