Through the Window Darkly
Well, I'm so not up to opening the doors right now and stepping outside to take pictures. So all of these are through my windows which are okay, but not exactly spotless. Ha! Not to mention the day is on the "dark" side. So the pics are dark too - even though I played with them a bit to make them brighter.
We figure we got about 18 inches of snow so far. You can kinda see it on our little back porch table. (you can click to make larger if you like)

Out the front door it looks pretty.

The grills are a bit buried.

The rock wall out front is nearly buried.

I was going to try for some video, but the snow flakes are too small and it all looks like fog or fuzziness in the picture. Yes, it's still snowing. It's supposed to go on most of the day.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I really like the view from the front door. Makes me smile to think the patio table is decorated in the current style of cupcakes.
Stay warm.

You guys are getting all the good snow, and we haven't had any since before Christmas. It's not fair, I tell ya!
Nice pics, though - thanks for sharing.

Yeah I don't mind this kind of snow too much except for not being able to actually go anywhere.
It's certainly pretty.

Sure am glad I'm no longer living in the I-95 corridor! You certainly got more than we got here in north-central PA.

Well, it does take a bit of effort to clean it all up. LOL.

I could so picture myself doing a full belly flop and rolling in that kind of snow like a hyperactive golden retriever (the measly six inches we got here in Arkansas doesn't quite count). Of course, I would have to thaw out for hours afterwards in a hot shower and in front of a fireplace. But that's part of the fun of winter. Oh yeah, and not having to go to work and getting paid for it. That would complete the fun.

well, looks like you got more than us - but we got a gracious plenty. Finally made it out of the house yesterday, but not without breaking out that damn shovel.
