Well shoot...
Army needs to work on their defensive line... But they'll be back - they'll win it next year - you just wait and see!

Army's new coach is a good guy. He'll turn it around. Actually, he already has. Last season they were like 0-11. This year they're 4-7. Next year could be one helluva game. I need to get a Go Navy! flag for my house!

My dad had a long running $5 bet with a friend of his. My dad was navy, his friend - army. Loser had to give the winner 5 bucks in such a way that it could never be spent. One year it was put in a coffee can and flattened by a tractor, another year it was a roll of quarters super-glued together, and on it went.
After my dad passed away, I offered to continue the wager, so, even though I spent four years on active duty in the army (I was a 98G russian translater)I still bet on navy for my dad.
Last year - also a navy win - I got my $5 delivered to me, imbedded in a piece of rock from above the arctic circle. I can't wait to see what it is this year.
I guess the point is, no matter what color uniform, we're all still on the same team.

Jody - that is ingenious and hysterical. What a lot of fun that must be to try and figure out the way to present it! Thanks for the great comment!

I remember Bobby Ross when he coached the Chargers. I didn't know his son, Kevin, graduated from the Naval Academy and currently serves as Army's offensive coordinator and running backs coach. Small world. Ross Bio at http://tinyurl.com/dy6hg
