Congratulations to Oklahoma!

For playing a really good game last night.  Mizzou was not on their game at all.  I was wondering if they used up all their energy last week against Kansas...

Mizzou did have some really bad offensive play calling in the first half.  After I got annoyed with Musburger and Co... I didn't watch the second half.  So, as a Mizzou fan, I guess I saw the best half.

Watched the end of the Pitt - West Virginia game.  Saw a couple of blatantly bad calls that put Pitt at a tremendous disadvantage.  Were the refs watching the same game I was?   You know when the defense actually HOLDS the receiver... that is generally known as "pass interference".  You refs should look it up sometime.   (disclaimer - I'm not a fan of either team but Pitt got a lousy officiating crew for that game).  Anyhow, congrats to Pitt for keeping their heads and winning.

1 Although I was pulling for Oklahoma, I share the Mussburger aversion.  I never listen to a game that he does... the sound stays off and I just watch.  It is ALWAYS that way whatever game he does.

That being said, Mizzou got hosed with Kansas going to a BCS Bowl.  It's almost as bad as Ohio State getting a shot at the championship!  I say we can the BCS final game and go back to the old Bowl system... at least for this year.

2 Oceanguy, once Mizzou lost... I could care less what happens in the BCS.  The weird part was:

Mizzou wins, they go to the finals
OU wins, they don't...

How does this make sense?  It doesn't, so I refuse to give the "championship game" any credence.  Although I will very likely watch - with the sound down and the radio on. Heh.   Now I just need to find my radio.  *grin*
