It's almost not worth it... but there is some limited commentary in the extended entry. Yeah, last night was a snoozer. Holy Crap! If they don't find some way to liven things up, I'm wondering if there's any point in watching the rest of this season.

So let's see, the Chloe and Morris storyline just sucks pond water. Really - it's awful. I love Chloe and I really like Morris, but this garbage has got to stop. Is he drinking? Is he not? Who the hell cares? What I don't understand is Nadia. When she has a question about something Morris is doing, why in the world is she going to Chloe? And why doesn't Chloe send her to Morris instead of flipping a lie off the top of her head? Doesn't Morris have a mouth? Can't he answer his own questions?

Next, they've brought back the sleazoid ex-President Logan from last year. This guy is so slimy he makes my skin crawl. (I give him kudos for being a terrific actor). But all the sneery dialog between him and Jack, then between Logan and President Palmer... ARG! Okay - we hate him, let's get on with the show already. Geeze!

Then we have the two worms who have decided to by-pass the American way of doing things and kill the President because they don't like what he's doing. Or were they trying to kill the terrorist dude? It's hard to tell because I thought Reed (the scummy assistant to Lennox - who is currently all tied up in a utility type room) was supposed to wait until Palmer was the one at the podium - instead he set it off while Assad (terrorist boy) was standing there. Is Palmer dead? We don't know yet.

I'm just wondering... aren't there cameras in this bunker place? If Reed tried he couldn't have given off more physical signals that he was up to something. Not to mention standing outside the room and tapping away at a PDA while sweating profusely and sneaking glances through the window... why not just hang a sign on your back boy? (and where the heck are the Secret Service in all this? Aren't they supposed to pick up on body language clues?)

I will finish out this season because I did start watching it, but I must say, it's been a tremendous disappointment so far. If it continues in this vein I may not watch next year. Stay tuned... if you're so inclined and haven't fallen asleep yet.
