Good Grief! Certainly below the fold! Every week, I think they've gotten as bad as they can get... and every week they surprise me and it's worse! I'm drowning in treacle - this is just disgusting.

So let's see. We have Jack in custody and Nadia threatening to chain him to the chair if he makes trouble... as if that would stop him. What security guard in CTU could ever keep Jack down if he wanted to get out? Nadia is an idiot of a higher order. He's sitting there because he wants to... he's Jack Bauer.

Holy crap people - get a room but for God's sake - do NOT be in charge of my national security. It's like a friggin' Middle School. I won't even promote them to High School status.

The Chinese guy is planning something. What could it be?

Back in CTU - we're back to Jack's relatives. Marilyn and Josh (the kid who looks like Jack) where the hell did they come from? I thought they were long gone. Chloe pokes her nose in and tells Marilyn about Jack and Audrey. Why isn't she on a computer? When did she become Emily Post?

Now we've switched to the Veep and his little tramp assistant. She's supposed to go in and tell her boyfriend all is well and then let him get at her PDA. Gee I wonder if she'll get cold feet at the last minute? Of course she will. It's no fun lying when everyone knows you're doing it. Not only is she a skank, she's also selfish - Lennox's problem here is that he didn't give her any reason to think there was a benefit for her. All he was giving her was a "stay out of jail card" and I'm not even sure he was doing that. Okay I'm leaving them there - on the bed having sex - and not even very good sex from what I can see. Geeze.

Let's cut to the chase. This episode is back and forth between one incredibly bad scene and the next equally bad or worse. More soapy stuff goes on at CTU while the Chinese prepare to break in. Once again it seems anyone and their brother can get into that place. How this can possibly be considered one of the safer places in the country? Maybe they mean it's safe for terrorists.

Anyhow, the Chinese cut off the security and break in... none of the so called experts in CTU can figure out why the security system is down. Let's see... security is totally down... what could it be? Uhhhh I dunno.... duh duh...should we do sumpthin?

When they do figure it out - Nadia starts yelling about "safe rooms" ... okay sure... but it's a little too late. The bad guys have taken over. They want to know who's in charge. Wimpy Nadia sits there looking like a fragile flower - Milo (the ass) stands up and says he is - boom Milo dead... was it worth it? Oh hell no.

Apparently they want Josh. Jack has escaped from his cell. The guard lets him out just before getting killed - well that's why the guard is there... right? Jack tries to get Marilyn and Josh away, but only Josh gets out. So, the head bad guy tells Josh over the intercom that he'll shoot "mom" if he doesn't come out. Awww... Josh loves his mom - even if she treats him like a 4 year old.

Now we find out that Jack's daddy is back. He wants Josh and in exchange will help the Chinese with the code on the stupid chip. Although I must say, I wonder at a security set up that can be broken by the information on a single chip. Not only that - but that the Russians can't just change things now that they know the chip is gone. What kind of stupid set up is that?

Will Jack end up killing daddy? Do we care? Tune in next week to
