Okay, I know, there are those who don't like 24... so I'll put this in the extended entry if you don't want to read it. I'm getting a bit grumpy here. Yet another night of very little action. A few good things that happened tonight...

Chloe is so upset over the nuke she may revert to her formerly snarky self. I would love this. Chloe doing a verbal smackdown is a true art.

Far too much time was wasted moving the President to the bunker and preparing for the speech. Although it seems that the sleezy little assistant to the Pres, does come out with the occasional good thought... in other words no one is going to expect the President to be all bright and perky and go-get-em after a nuke goes off.

The President's sister is very annoying. Sorry, but she is. As the FBI agent pointed out - she doesn't mind bending the rules when it suits her - but she has a very loud whiny tantrum going on when she doesn't like the rule being bent. Sheesh!

The creepy bald guy from last season who was doing bad things behind the scenes during all the nerve gas hoopla - turns out to be Jack's brother. I did not see that one coming at all!

A show of hands - how many people looked at Jack's "nephew" and didn't come to the obvious conclusion.

Best part of the night - Jack is back - just ask the brother who isn't answering questions. Because this guy is so very creepy - I hope Jack makes his life a living hell. Especially if he was behind the nerve gas thing and even more if he's got anything to do with the nukes.

Last few minutes of the show were excellent. Let's hope they start out with the action next week.

1 Maybe I should just stop watching... I saw roughly 30 minutes, including the end, which was the best part IMO... but the bald bad guy is Jack's brother? Geez... that just irritated me.
And, yeah... we all reached the same conclusion about Jack's 'nephew'...

2 I completely missed coming to the conclusion about Jack's "nephew" until one of my commenters pointed out to me that he looks just like Spawn.
