The Snow's A Comin'

While we aren't supposed to get the massive brunt of the storm (which is supposed to be farther south of us), this is the prediction for tomorrow from the NOAA:

Wednesday: Snow, mainly after 11am. High near 31. Blustery, with a northeast wind 5 to 8 mph increasing to between 18 and 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Wednesday Night: Snow, mainly before 1am. Low around 22. Blustery, with a north wind between 18 and 22 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Reading between the lines and going from historical data (aka - the kind of snow we've seen with each predicted storm)... we will be getting between 8-15 inches of snow.

About average.

I have my wine stocked up and I have a chuck roast for the crockpot.

I'm ready!

1 The snow they predicted for us with this storm never materialized and the rain has been much shorter in duration as well. This is a very good thing - not sure where we'd put one.more.gallon of water around here.

2 Is that what you get for bragging about having grass showing? It sounds like you're ready, though - that's a good thing.

3 LOL - well, I don't know about bragging.  I call it rejoicing that the sun was out.

4 We got the snow and the wind.  I'm ready for spring.  Ughh!

5 Jerry - I think you got all the snow we hardly got any... not that I'll complain because the 2 hour snowblowing fun is something I don't really mind missing again.
