Apple released iOS 6.0.1 which supposedly fixes some stuff. Decided to update my iphone. I guess I'll find out if this is a good or bad idea.
I've been holding off on updating my phone and iPad, too. I'd love to hear your thoughts before I take that dive.

Well, so far so good on the phone. You do have to sign into iCloud again if you're using it.
I want to wait and be sure it's not going to mess with my NHL Game Center video. So I'll see if I can get the games to play okay on my iphone later tonight. If that works, I'll upgrade the ipad by the end of the week. So far though the jury is still out.
Plus I find out stuff from twitter feeds etc that I might not see happening on my devices.

I saw that message on my phone this morning. I hate updating my iPhone because it never fails to delete or mess up something. Gah!

Do you back it up? Set it to backup to icloud! That way you can restore stuff if something happens. Besides, if you drop and break it, you need a backup anyway. Back up now!

I've got mine set to back up to iCloud, but I still cringe at the thought of updating. It seems like every time I do, something goes wrong. Then there's the veritable slew of apps demanding to be updated.... one after another after another. It sure would be nice if Apple would schedule app updates in bulk, rather than all willy nilly.

It's always a "hold your breath" moment when doing any update. But you are so right. I so with they would release updates for apps on one day of the week. It would certainly be less annoying!

I tried and it failed. That's a first.

Wow! Failed? What happened?
