Update: New problem Dogette was unable to comment earlier. If anyone else has been unable to comment, please email me: technicalities at charter dot net. Tell me what happens - if you get an error message or what.
****
It has been brought to my attention that there are people who would rather be beaten within an inch of their lives than leave a comment here like:
"Wow you moved... my feed reader isn't picking your site up anymore".
Or even dropping me an email to let me know it's a problem.
That being the case, if there's one person with that issue who won't say anything, there are probably others too. Therefore:
If you have a feed reader - the change to this new blog software means you will have to add this blog back on to your reading list. (you can delete the old entry)
It's just like adding a new blog to your list. You can do one of 2 things.
- - scroll down the side bar to the RSS and Atom buttons, click on one of them, add to your reader
- - use the "add new feed" in the particular reader you use.
While I'm at it - I might as well link to VK's Bite Me.

Actually...all other emotions fell by the wayside this morning, because guilt felt like it did not play a big enough part in my life.
Forgive me, please, for being a techno-and-socially-inept-highly-challenged putz.
You may deride me, mercilessly, during the two and a half hour road trip in a few weeks. I deserve it.
Excuse me while I self-flagellate.

I knew you were moving, but I also knew that your uri would stay the same. Duh! me. Of course the feed changed...

Erica - I'll try not to flog you too severely. :-)
Thanks Pixy - I'll have to read the docs, I'm not very good at RSS. But I can't even suggest a fix if I don't know something is wrong.
Pam - that was why I asked in a post a few days ago if anyone was having feed problems and a few posts before that for people to watch for the feed to stop working. But I guess I wasn't clear about it.

I had to add the new site to Mr. Google Reader. It still is a bit quirky. Tonight it showed "three unread posts," and when I clicked to pop your site open in the reader, it said that there were no unread posts.
There were, in fact, three.
I think I will do a do-over.

Testing. Testing. Testing.
But I think I commented once before and it was cool.
What's a reader? ;-)

I think the last time I tried to post it didn't work (at least I can't seem to findmy comment).
Love the look of the new site. I know little technical thingies are what makes for a challenging and exciting day.

Tinkering is fun when I'm not too tired or overworked. *grin*

Aha! I suspect you have a problem with preview.
Last comment I made (under trees) was without hitting the preview button. But when I tried to use preview, the blog ate my comment (urp!).
I'm a gonna copy and paste this before I hit preview this time to see what happens.
See, no preview and my comments went (urp!) again.
S'okay, you'll get it figured out.

Yep, previews were a problem, but only (I think, please let me know otherwise!) under Internet Explorer, which hates mu.nu.
(Technical details available here if anyone is interested.)
I've just put in a fix which checks what browser you are using when creating session cookies. That means that previews and logins and such now work under IE. Things are still better under any browser other than IE, but at least it works in IE now.
