Patch It Up
Yesterday was patch Tuesday for Windows machines. If this is your OS, get the patches done please.
Also, you may remember my post from December about the Zero Day exploits for Adobe. If you must use Adobe Reader and/or Acrobat, they now have the patches available.

Well, that explains it. Spent two-plus hours this morning trying to get my machine working again after it failed to restart properly overnight. Windows upgrades. Problems with an Adobe upgrade. And then Firefox wouldn't start and I had to download the newest version of that.
Had me sweating there for a couple of hours thinking I might have to go shopping. Then it came back up and has been working fine since 10 AM.
If I had hit here first I would have relaxed with another cup of coffee... and saved the curse words for the government.

It's always bad news when the patches hit at the same time... I've had that happen and it makes me want to tear my hair out!
